Bottled water takes up an incredible amount of space in the refrigerator. A water cooler dispenser is a great alternative to plastic water bottles. There are tower-style water coolers that sit on the floor. These either work with the water bottle exposed on the top, upside down or in the bottom behind a door. Another water cooler design is more compact and sits on the countertop. They can serve water at room temperature as well as cooled. Some work with water filtration systems which are available as an addition.
For added convenience, buy a water cooler dispenser that doubles as a water heater. The kids can get a drink of cold water and Mom can have a cup of tea. Look for models with LED light indicators. They show you when water has cooled or heated to the right temperatures. Water coolers are available in typical kitchen appliance colours. You can choose one in black, white or stainless steel to match your decor.
